People mistake these substances for reducing the stress levels but in the real case they increase it. Alcohol is a depressant when taken in large quantities, however, it is not a helpful way of dealing with stress. Getting more sleep is a simple way that can help a stressed person to reduce the stress levels. This is because lack of sleep has been identified as a cause of stress. Another tip of managing stress is the utilization of the relaxation techniques. Tests done to majority of these techniques confirm their efficiency.
The other means of stress management is through doing physical exercises. Stress is accompanied by the increase in the levels of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline.
